A Dior Love Story Between Two Continents

The epitome of chic, Lady Dior deserved a follow-up piece. A short visual story in the wild featuring the illustrious design. From studio to greenery, this feature was lensed on a cold sunny winters morning, the sun edging it’s way through the palms to light up the Dior charms. A cold breeze sometimes so sharp I had to close my eyes to stop them from watering. It swept me back to winter Paris fashion weeks (which I miss dearly and feels like a distant memory). When I opened my eyes, city life felt far away. All that surrounded me was palm trees.

The direction for todays article is a mix of how I would style the Lady Dior at Paris Fashion Week, but also paying homage for what’s around me. In Australia, we’ve been unable to leave internationally since Feb 2020, but one thing we can be grateful for are beautiful landscapes. I wanted to combine the two, a representation of how I am sometimes so torn between European city life, and my love of Australia.

So for a brief moment, this piece combines my two worlds - chic metropolis styling in a natural green environment. A simple story, depicting love for two continents.
