Clash de Cartier

We are well and truly into the 2021 party season! A time to style your fanciest threads or glitz up your favourite black pieces with a touch of sparkle. It's also a time to ‘hint hint’ for those special forever pieces you’ve been eyeing up over the past year. A Cartier piece is on the wish list for many, and the brand has long been known for its iconic Love bracelets and Trinity rings which date back to the 1930’s. Fast forward to present day, we are a society to celebrate not only the graceful and sophisticated side of femininity, but also the ambitious and adventurous sides and so much more.

Introducing Clash de Cartier, a shake up to the Maison’s heritage pieces, incorporating a unique selection of studs, beads and clous carrés (pyramid-like spikes). For this collection, the Maison’s design studio express duality - soft yet structured, feminine yet sharp. Tough embellishments to represent a rebellious edge.

Cartier appointed English-Brazilian actress Kaya Scodelario as the global face of the campaign, and recent addition to the French house, Lily Collins - the new face for the Clash [Un]Limited collection which launched September of this year.

The Clash de Cartier pieces featured for this article are crafted from 18K pink gold. Each item of the collection comes with a proportion that draws on pure Cartier style, yet adorns silhouettes unlike any other before which are neo-classical. Styled back with a single breasted blazer, kitten heels and cigarette pants. Office tailoring reimagined to take you from clock out to champagne o’clock. Don’t be afraid mix metals to add depth to your look.
